At SK Vision Dentistry, we understand that good oral health is essential for overall well-being. That’s why we offer the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), a government-funded program that helps eligible children receive basic dental care at no out-of-pocket cost.
The CDBS is available to children between the ages of 2 and 18 who receive Family Tax Benefit A or other relevant Australian Government payments. The program covers a range of basic dental treatments, including:
1. Dental checkups
2. Scale and cleans
3. Dental x-rays
4. Fissure sealants
5. Fillings
6. Extractions
To be eligible for the CDBS, your child must:
• Be between the ages of 2 and 18
• Receive Family Tax Benefit A or other relevant Australian Government payments
• Have a current Medicare card
If your child is eligible for the CDBS, you can simply schedule an appointment with us and we will take care of the rest. We will bill Medicare directly, so you will not have to pay anything out of pocket.
